What does a private peptide test mean?

A private test means the lab sends the result to you, and nobody else sees it. Some labs publish results on their website by default. A public result helps other buyers. But you may not want your result online, for example if you test stock before you sell it.

These labs publish results, or may publish them, unless you pay or opt out:

Finnrick
Its $69 Build Your Own test is public. A private result costs $99 more, $168 in total. Its free community tests are public too.
Freedom Diagnostics
It posts results on its website by default. You can opt out for each sample.
Kovera Labs
Its terms say it may publish results.

Free tests are public too. Our free UK test publishes every result. Our paid test is private by default. We publish a result only if you ask us to.

Private test prices at 12 labs

The price is for one test, with a private result where the lab offers one. For most labs that is their normal price. For Finnrick it is the public price plus the private fee. Check the "Private?" column: one lab may publish, and some do not say.
