Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Peptide Scanner (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms form a binding contract between you and Peptide Scanner. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the current version of these Terms, including any updates published under Section 10.

2. Service Description

Peptide Scanner is a free, non-profit, independent price aggregation service for peptide researchers. We collect and display publicly available pricing data, sale notices, and certificate-of-analysis (COA) status information from third-party retailers.

Peptide Scanner does not sell, manufacture, stock, ship, or endorse any product listed on the Service. When you click out to a retailer, you leave Peptide Scanner and transact directly with that retailer. We are not a party to any transaction between you and a retailer, and we accept no responsibility for the accuracy, quality, legality, or fitness of any product listed on this site.

The Service is provided for research information purposes only. Nothing on this site is a solicitation, recommendation, or endorsement of any product, retailer, or supplier.

3. Eligibility

To use the Service, you represent and warrant that:

1. You are at least 18 years of age.
2. You are accessing the Service in a jurisdiction where accessing information about research peptide procurement is lawful for your intended purpose.
3. Your use of the Service and any products you may procure using information found on the Service complies with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
4. You are accessing the Service in your capacity as a researcher or for legitimate research planning purposes only.

If you do not meet these eligibility requirements, you must not use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful research information purposes. You must not:

• Systematically scrape, crawl, or harvest content from the Service using automated means without our express written permission.
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent rate-limiting, access controls, or technical measures protecting the Service.
• Submit fake, inaccurate, or misleading retailer reviews or ratings.
• Impersonate any person, entity, retailer, or Peptide Scanner.
• Use the Service’s calculators, stack-builder, or other tools to determine human dosing regimens or for any non-research purpose.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its supporting infrastructure.
• Reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from Peptide Scanner content for commercial purposes without written permission.

5. User-Submitted Content

Where the Service permits you to submit content (including retailer reviews, ratings, or comments), you retain ownership of that content but grant Peptide Scanner a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute it on the Service.

By submitting content, you represent and warrant that:

• The content is your original work, or you hold all rights necessary to grant the above licence.
• The content is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• The content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
• The content does not contain medical claims, dosing advice, or statements that could be construed as therapeutic recommendations.

Peptide Scanner reserves the right to remove or decline to publish any submitted content without notice.

6. Affiliate Relationship Disclosure

Peptide Scanner may earn referral fees from retailers when users click affiliate links and complete purchases. These relationships are disclosed:

• On every outbound click-out button with an “Affiliate link” badge.
• In the footer of every page.
• On our Disclaimer page.

7. Intellectual Property

The Peptide Scanner name, wordmark, site copy, comparison methodology, data structures, and design elements are the property of Peptide Scanner, protected by applicable copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Retailer logos, trademarks, and brand assets displayed on the Service are the property of their respective owners and are displayed solely for identification and comparison purposes under nominative fair use. No affiliation with or endorsement by any retailer is implied.

You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute Peptide Scanner content for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

Peptide Scanner provides information in good faith for research planning purposes. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
• Peptide Scanner is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
• Peptide Scanner is not liable for the accuracy, quality, purity, authenticity, or legality of any product listed on the Service.
• Peptide Scanner is not liable for research outcomes or adverse events resulting from any product referenced on the Service.
• Peptide Scanner is not responsible for the actions, products, or services of any third-party retailer.

Aggregate liability cap:To the extent any liability is found, Peptide Scanner’s total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the lesser of (a) USD $100 or (b) the total affiliate referral fees, if any, attributable to your activity on the Service in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain types of liability. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Peptide Scanner, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, contractors, and agents from and against any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or relating to:

• Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms.
• Content you submit to the Service.
• Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.
• Any claim that your submitted content caused damage to a third party.

10. Modifications to These Terms

Peptide Scanner may update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will display a notice bar on the Service for at least 14 days following publication of the change.

Continued use of the Service after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using the Service.

11. Termination

Peptide Scanner may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion and without notice if we determine that you have violated these Terms, including the acceptable-use provisions in Section 4.

Access attributable to repeat infringers of intellectual property rights will be terminated in accordance with our repeat-infringer policy, described on the DMCA Policy page.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any dispute not resolved under the cure period below lies in the state and federal courts located in Delaware.

Pre-litigation notice and cure period: Before commencing any legal action against Peptide Scanner, you must provide written notice of your claim to Peptide Scanner via the contact address on the Disclaimer page. Peptide Scanner has 30 days from receipt of such notice to resolve the claim. Legal proceedings may not be commenced until this 30-day cure period has expired without resolution.

13. General Provisions

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision is severed and the remaining Terms continue in full force and effect.

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Disclaimer (including the Limitation of Liability and Affiliate Disclosure sections), constitute the entire agreement between you and Peptide Scanner regarding use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements or communications on the same subject matter.

No waiver. Failure by Peptide Scanner to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

These Terms are effective as of 2026-04-30.
