Search fixes, a security update, and fewer scraping tools
Searches from the home page and the compare page open the results again, the site runs a patched version of its framework, and simple scraping tools are turned away.

Between 15 and 29 October 2026 we made several fixes to how the site runs.
On 29 October we found that a search started on the home page or on the compare page could change the address but leave the empty search on screen. We fixed both the same day. A search now loads the results page in full.
Next.js, the framework the site is built with, released fixes for two critical security flaws and one high-severity flaw on 14 October. On 23 October we updated the site from version 16.3.8 to 16.4.2. Nothing else changed.
On 15 October the site started to turn away a short list of scraping tools. Search engines, AI assistants and link previews are not blocked. For one week we also counted visits by network. We stored only the first part of each address, never a full address. The count stopped on 23 October, and we deleted it the same day.
On 20 October we fixed an error that Google reported on supplier pages. The product data we give search engines now has a price for every product, so Google can read it.
