Supplier claims checked against their own certificates
The PSV Trust Score now checks a supplier's label and purity claims against its own certificates, and self-issued certificates no longer count.

On 25 September 2026 the PSV Trust Score started to check whether a supplier's claims match its own certificates of analysis.
We compare the amount on each vial label with the amount the certificate measured, and the purity a supplier advertises with the purity on its certificates. A vial within 3% of its label gets full credit, between 3% and 10% gets half, and beyond 10% gets none. Too much counts the same as too little.
The weights moved to lab testing 40, reviews 20, community 15 and transparency 25. The cap of 60 points from public evidence stays. 559 suppliers were rescored.
The same day we stopped counting certificates that a supplier issued itself. Only certificates from a named independent laboratory count. After a deeper check of each supplier's site, 27 suppliers scored 0 for transparency that day.
Our methodology page sets out each rule with worked examples.
