Get your peptide tested, free
Send us a vial you already own. We run HPLC and mass spectrometry at an independent UK university laboratory and publish what we find — pass or fail.
Which one are you?
Research use only. We do not give medical advice and we do not sell peptides. See our testing method.
No payment details. No account. We never publish your name or address unless you ask us to. First batch is UK senders only.
How it works
01
Tell us what you have
Sixty seconds. The compound, where it came from, and how to reach you.
02
We test it
Identity and purity by HPLC and mass spectrometry at an independent UK university laboratory.
03
You get the certificate
One to two weeks. A certificate of analysis for the exact vial, and the result goes public.
Two rules we do not bend
Unlabelled vials are refused
If nothing on the vial says what is inside and who sold it, a certificate for it certifies nothing. We will not test it, and unidentified liquid cannot lawfully go back in the post, so it is securely destroyed. Bring the label or the order confirmation.
Every result is published
Nobody buys silence here. Suppliers cannot approve a result before it goes up, and cannot pull it once testing has started. That constraint is the only reason the certificate means anything.
Programme rules
UK only for the first batch. Samples must be posted within the United Kingdom. We do not accept parcels from abroad and we do not post anything abroad.
You must be 18 or over. We do not accept samples or requests from anyone under 18.
The first batch is 50 tests. Once they are used, new requests join a waitlist. We review every request by hand, we may decline any request, and nothing is promised until we accept in writing.
Labelled vials only. The label must show the compound and the supplier. Unlabelled vials are not tested and are securely destroyed — unidentified liquid cannot lawfully go back in the post.
Testing uses the sample up. A tested vial no longer exists, so it cannot be returned. You get the certificate of analysis instead.
Untested vials are returned. If we accept your vial and do not test it, we return it — unless the law does not allow us to post it back, in which case we destroy it securely and tell you.
No prescription medicines, nothing illegal. We test unlicensed research peptides only. Requests naming a prescription-only medicine (semaglutide, tirzepatide, insulin and similar) or a controlled substance (steroids, growth hormone) are declined automatically at submission, and any that arrive anyway are securely destroyed, not returned. Controlled substances are refused and reported. Do not send anything that is unlawful for you to possess or to post in the UK.
Results are research information only. A result describes one vial on one date. It is not medical advice, not a recommendation to buy or use any product, and says nothing about any other vial or batch.
Our liability is limited. This is a free service provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from a result or from reliance on one. Nothing in these rules excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, such as death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
Questions people actually ask
Why is it free?
Because the results are the product. Every vial tested makes the public database harder to argue with, which is the whole business. You get the certificate; we get the data point.
What does the certificate actually tell me?
Whether the compound in the vial is the compound on the label, and how pure it is. It describes the unit you sent, on the date it was run. It is not a verdict on every vial that supplier ships.
Will you name the supplier?
Yes. A result with the supplier redacted helps nobody. We publish the supplier, the compound, the method and the numbers, whether the result is good or bad.
Do I get my vial back?
Tested — no. Testing uses the sample up, so there is nothing left to send back; you get the certificate instead. If we accept your vial but never test it, we return it — unless the law does not allow us to post it back, in which case we destroy it securely and tell you.
I sell peptides. Can I send you my own sample?
No — and that limitation is the point. We buy the product ourselves, anonymously, at your listed price. A sample chosen by the seller certifies the seller's choice, not the product.
Can I see the result before it is published?
You see it at the same time we do, and you cannot veto it. That is what separates this from a certificate a vendor buys.
For research use only. Peptide Scanner does not sell peptides, does not supply them, and does not give medical advice. Do not send us anything that is unlawful to post from where you are, and do not send controlled substances — those are refused and reported. Results describe the specific unit tested on the date it was tested. Read the testing method, disclaimer and privacy policy.
